Work YOUR Plan!

Don't tell me where your priorities are.

Show me where you spend your money and I'll tell you what they are.

Iyanla Vanzant Daily Stimu-Mail – SERVING A DIVINE PURPOSE

Iyanla Vanzant is the founder and executive director of Inner Visions International and the Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development. She is the author of 13 titles—including five New York Times bestsellers—and the Inner Visions CD Series. Peace from Broken Pieces: How to Get Through What You’re Going Through has been published by SmileyBooks and available here. Iyanla is a Spiritual Technician. She is a Master Teacher. She is a woman of passion, clear vision and purpose, with a wicked sense of humor. Ordinary? Maybe. We think Dr. Maya Angelou's description is much more appropriate. Iyanla is, by many accounts, a Phenomenal Woman!

I will know peace when .  .  .
I learn to let go.

When a thing has served its purpose, it will go away.  Sometimes it will break. At other times, it will simply die off. Then, there are those times when for no reason, it will simply fall apart. There will be tiny little fragments and pieces that are missing, making it impossible to put the things back together.    When a thing no longer has any purpose being in your life, it will go sour.  Or, it may run away. Or, it may pack and leave very abruptly. When a thing has served its divine purpose in your life, there is no explanation. There is no excuse. It cannot, will not, must not stay in your presence. If you try to hold on to something that has already fulfilled its purpose in your life, you are going to hurt yourself. If holding on is disturbing your peace of mind, it makes sense to let it go.

Until today, you may have been holding on to something or someone not realizing that their purpose in your life has been served. Just for today, surrender all attachments to people and things that you have been struggling to hold on to.

Today, I am devoted to releasing everything and everyone which do not serve a divine purpose in my life!

From Until Today!
